Jermon has its roots in successful retail development. Just one of Jermon’s retail development projects was the first purpose-built Tesco store in Northern Ireland (40,000 sq ft/3716 sq m) opened in 1999 in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Jermon recently acquired the Artizan Centre in Dumbarton, Scotland and plan a full refurbishment with handover scheduled for ealy 2009. The company has been particulary active in Eastern Europe particularly in Poland where retail sites have been acquired.
Further retail development and investment properties are located throughout Northern Ireland including retail parks and units in Belfast city centre, most notably The Gallery in Castle Place where there are plans to expand the exisiting centre from circa 54,000 square feet to a further 75,000 square feet over 2 phased developments.
